Overview

The report is Farmland Partners' first sustainability report and highlights its 2022 sustainability policies, renewable energy expansion, and tenant engagement. A survey of 137 tenants achieved a 63% response rate and documented conservation practices across the portfolio. The company measured Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions for the first time, reporting 27.09 MT CO2e and 33.44 MT CO2e respectively. Renewable energy projects on 20 farms had collective capacity of approximately 260 megawatts.
