Environmental Report

Overview

The report describes FCC Construcción's 2018 environmental performance through detailed emissions, energy, water and waste indicators and extensive good-practice implementation across its works. It reports total GHG emissions of 301,659 t CO2e, total energy consumption of 1,339,335 GJ and total waste of 1,720,181 tonnes. The report also explains that GHG emissions from operations in Spain, Portugal, Peru and Panama were externally verified by AENOR. Its case studies demonstrate practical measures for reducing dust, protecting water resources, restoring land, reusing materials and addressing biodiversity impacts.
