Overview

The report presents Ferrero's first global CSR disclosure for 2008/2009, covering worldwide initiatives and reporting in conformity with GRI G3. It describes a Group workforce of 21,555 people, extensive community and social-enterprise programmes, and a CSR governance structure led by dedicated committees. Environmental highlights include energy-efficiency projects, renewable-energy production of 986 MWh, and a reported 0.15% renewable share of total consumption. Deloitte independently reviewed the report using a limited-assurance engagement.
