Overview

The report presents FNB Botswana's first Report to Society and describes its sustainability journey and corporate responsibility agenda. The company identifies youth unemployment as Botswana's biggest obstacle to economic prosperity and directs its focus areas and programmes toward youth empowerment. Its Staff Volunteer Programme allocated P3.8 million in 2019 across youth unemployment, social welfare, environmental sustainability, education, administration, sports and recreation, and arts and culture. The report also highlights a 2019 initiative that supported 26 young entrepreneurs with business and administrative skills.
