Overview

The report highlights CIBC Caribbean's first annual ESG report and a three-pillar strategy focused on integrity, opportunity and climate action. In fiscal 2024, the bank funded US$5 million in renewable energy and clean transportation financing and completed two PV installations, a 330kW system in Barbados and a 220kW system in Jamaica, scheduled for commissioning in 2025. It reports US$2.7 million contributed to community causes through ComTrust and inclusion initiatives including 73 interns and a deaf-awareness workshop. ESG governance was strengthened through Board responsibility and quarterly review by the Nominating and Governance Committee.
