Overview

The report describes Forterra's 2022 sustainability framework around Planet, Product and People, with progress against group 2030 carbon targets. It reports 295,371 tonnes of Scope 1 emissions, 14,144 tonnes of location-based Scope 2 emissions, 973,315 MWh of energy use and 99.97% waste recycled. Forterra reports 100% renewable electricity procurement, continued investment in efficient factories and a net-zero-by-2050 ambition through Race to Zero. Sustainability oversight sits with the Board's Risk and Sustainability Committee, alongside TCFD-aligned climate disclosures.
