Overview

The report presents GSEZ's sustainable timber value chain, including FSC certification of 397,580 hectares in 2023-2024 and more than 10 certified companies. It identifies the Nkok SIZ as Africa's first carbon-neutral certified industrial zone and reports 30,000 tCO2 sequestered per year alongside 7,000 tons of plastic collected and recycled since 2019. Community initiatives included training 1105 people from 81 villages in forest management and conservation.
