Overview

The report reviews Gaia Impact Fund's role in financing electrification and measuring the environmental and social effects of off-grid energy investments. It reports 1 376 full-time jobs created or maintained, 280 000 tons of CO2eq emissions avoided, nearly 100 SMEs gaining better access to energy, and 1.7 million people gaining improved energy access since inception. It also presents GEIF II as an SFDR Article 9 fund targeting 4,000,000 tonnes of avoided CO2, access to energy for 4,000,000 people and 20,000 full-time jobs.
