Overview

The report describes Gatwick's 2016 progress under its Decade of Change sustainability strategy. The company highlights a new on-site Materials Recycling Facility that processes Category 1 airline waste and converts organic waste into energy. Its reported 2016 total GHG emissions were 772,966.1 tonnes CO2e, while 71.6% of total energy came from renewable sources.
