Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes the Group's 2012 sustainability activities across sustainable palm oil, environmental stewardship, community support and workplace practices. It highlights progress toward RSPO certification, with the Southern Region judged to have met RSPO standards, and completion of a baseline GHG inventory for Southern Region operating units. Environmental actions included setting aside 86.5 hectares for forest planting, enforcing zero burning, practicing integrated pest management and recycling biomass.
