Overview

The report presents Genting Group's 2023 sustainability performance across nine countries, including about 4.6 million tonnes of group-wide GHG emissions and 871 million m3 of water used or consumed. It sets group targets for carbon neutrality by 2050 and a 45% carbon-emission reduction against GDP by 2030 from a 2005 baseline. The report records three Group work-related fatalities in 2023, all in the plantation division, while reporting RM27.1 billion of total direct economic value generated.
