Overview

The report marks Gildan's 20th year of sustainability reporting and describes progress under its Next Generation ESG strategy. The company's 2030 Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative, while 2023 Scope 3 emissions fell to 2,187,084 tCO2e. The report also highlights reduced water intensity, lower manufacturing waste sent to landfill, and increased sustainable-material sourcing. Selected environmental and social indicators were subject to KPMG's limited assurance engagement.
