Overview

The report describes Graham Packaging's 2019 sustainability progress across recycled content, energy, emissions, recycling and waste. It reports a 56% increase in rPET use, a 6% reduction in overall energy use and a 19.4% combined decrease in Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions. It also reports 100% renewable energy at two Brazil facilities and 375 million containers diverted from landfills. Looking ahead, it sets goals for energy reduction, PCR content, life-cycle assessments and recyclability.
