Overview

The report presents GSH's 2017 sustainability performance across responsible business, environmental sustainability, empowering lives and green building. It highlights a biodiversity and coral reef baseline-data project in Kota Kinabalu waters and reports local-supplier spending of 57,059 S$'000 and green-item spending of 156 S$'000. The Group reports average training of 2.3 hours per staff and 100% of appointed main contractors certified to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or externally audited for EHS compliance. Construction safety indicators show zero serious accidents and zero accidents per 100,000 man-hours.
