Overview

The report is GT Steel's first ESG report for 2017 and covers its structural-steel operations at two Singapore factories. It reports estimated GHG emissions of 345.6 t CO2e, comprising Scope 1 of 223.1, Scope 2 of 110.8 and Scope 3 of 11.7, alongside energy consumption of 3,841.7 GJ and water consumption of 8,775.1 cubic meter. It highlights certified QEHS systems using ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, plus safety procedures and bizSAFE Level Star. The company also describes supplier screening, employee training, anti-corruption controls and a whistleblowing system.
