Overview

The report describes Guan Chong Berhad's first IFRS Sustainability Disclosure prepared under ISSB standards, covering climate-related risks, opportunities, and metrics for 2025. The Group reported 32,829 tCO2e of gross Scope 1 emissions and 52,321 tCO2e of market-based Scope 2 emissions, while renewable energy represented 12% of the stated energy metric. Responsible sourcing advanced to around 48,000 MT of sustainable cocoa traced to farm level, or 36% of the direct sourcing network. The workforce reached 2,006 employees and the Group reported zero work-related fatalities.
