Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is Handicare's first sustainability report and presents its statutory Group sustainability disclosures for 2017. It highlights a new Group-wide compliance programme, anti-corruption policy and whistle-blower function, with no reports received since introduction. Environmental reporting covers UK and Netherlands operations, including 100 percent green electricity in Heerhugowaard and 96,000kg of process-related waste generated there. The report also records 1,201 employees, 28 percent women, and four priority UN Sustainable Development Goals (3, 5, 8 and 13).
