Overview

The report describes Hap Seng Plantations' first comprehensive Sustainable Agriculture Policy, covering no deforestation, peat protection, human rights and worker rights. It reports RSPO certification for all mills and 91% of planted area, together with ISCC EU certification for all mills. The company reduced water consumption by 20% over five years and achieved its 2016 water-use target of 1.3 tonnes per tonne of processed FFB. It also reports zero fatalities in 2016.
