Overview

The report presents HBIS's 2023 green-transition work, including stable production at the world's first 1.2-million-ton hydrogen metallurgy demonstration project and a 52 percent average carbon-emission-intensity reduction objective for 2026 from 2021. It reports 97,802 employees, RMB4,016 hundred million in operating revenue, and energy consumption of 2,029 10,000 tons of standard coal equivalent. The company also established a Sustainable Development Commission to coordinate green and low-carbon initiatives, social responsibility, and ESG-system development.
