Overview

The report updates Heathrow 2.0: Connecting People and Planet in December 2024 and retains two sustainability pillars focused on net-zero aviation and quality of life. It sets major 2030 carbon goals, including an at least 15% cut in aviation carbon and an at least 45% cut in ground carbon against 2019. The strategy says its goals were informed by a refreshed double-materiality assessment involving more than 170 stakeholders, alongside updated targets across air quality, nature, waste, communities, and inclusion.
