Overview

The report describes HEXPOL's 2014 sustainability performance across 32 global units, combining environmental, social and economic disclosures. Energy consumption reached 313 GWh, while renewable sources represented 9 percent of energy use. The Group reported 115,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions and continued energy-efficiency, biofuel and recycling initiatives. It also reported 3,666 year-end employees, 104 occupational accidents causing more than one day's absence, and a 29 percent share of women on the Board.
