Overview

The report describes HICL's sustainability strategy across environment, communities, people and governance, supported by a detailed net-zero transition plan for the portfolio. It reports Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for 100% of the portfolio and discloses total attributable emissions of 89,733 tCO2e for 2023. HICL has set interim 2030 targets for 50% portfolio coverage and 90% engagement with portfolio-company emissions. The Board retains overall responsibility for oversight of sustainability risks and opportunities.
