Overview

The report presents Hitachi Group's first full-scale CSR implementation under a Group-wide CSR Policy, including CSR promotion structures, manager education, and stakeholder dialogue. It reports FY2005 environmental data for 275 Group companies, including 2,680 kt of CO2 emissions, 771 kt of waste generated, and a 90% resource recycling rate. The report also highlights ISO 14001-based environmental management, eco-products, energy-saving services, and the Environmental Vision 2015 roadmap.
