Overview

The report describes Hitachi's fiscal 2017 sustainability strategy, led by the Executive Sustainability Committee and supported by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It sets a 50% reduction target for value-chain CO2 emissions by fiscal 2030 and reports 121.83 Mt-CO2e of total value-chain GHG emissions. Group operational data include 2.35 GL of total energy input and 1,356 kt of waste and valuables generation.
