Overview

The report presents Hitachi Group's fiscal 2021 sustainability performance across environmental, social and governance topics. It reports 70.75 Mt-CO2e of total Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, 368,247 Group employees, and two fatal accidents including contractors. Hitachi also sets carbon-neutrality targets for business sites by fiscal 2030 and throughout the value chain by fiscal 2050. Selected ESG indicators are independently assured by KPMG AZSA Sustainability Co., Ltd. under limited assurance.
