Overview

The report maps HKBU's teaching, research and campus initiatives to all 17 SDGs across 2024-25. Operational highlights include 16,521 tCO2e of total GHG emissions, with Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 disclosed separately, and campus food-waste collection. HKBU's Carbon Neutrality Strategy Plan targets a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2035/36 and carbon neutrality by 2044. The report also documents solar generation, sustainable procurement, water management, waste reduction, inclusion and employee-wellness initiatives.
