Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is the HKMA's first standalone sustainability report, covering climate resilience, green finance, responsible investment and sustainable operations. It reports a 2050 net-zero target for corporate operations and a 63% Scope 2 reduction target by 2030 from 2015. In 2022, total energy consumption was 4,996.4 megawatt hour and combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions were 2,996.4 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent.
