Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents Horizon's first materiality review and describes the resulting sustainability priorities across health, safety and environment, governance, climate change, and people and communities. It also reports for the first time against TCFD recommendations and confirms CDP participation in 2020. Safety performance included no fatalities across the reported operated and non-operated assets and no material spills. The greenhouse gas summary reports Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions, while noting that Horizon offsets emissions through the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme.
