Overview

The report covers HSBC China’s sustainability activities from January 1 to December 31, 2021. It highlights the HSBC Group’s 2050 financed-emissions and 2030 own-operations and supply-chain net-zero goals, alongside a 50.3% cumulative reduction in operational GHG emissions from 2019. In China, HSBC launched a climate solutions partner program with nearly RMB 1 billion of planned five-year investment across low-carbon transition, nature-based solutions, and green technology. It also reports RMB 65,226,302 in 2021 charitable project donations.
