Overview

The report presents IGB's 2023 sustainability performance for subsidiaries in Malaysia and China under its management, while excluding operations managed by third parties or associates. It reports 163,593 Megawatt-hours of total energy consumption, 3,322 tonnes of Scope 1, 98,864 tonnes of Scope 2 and 95,875 tonnes of Scope 3 emissions. The Group also reports 2,105 employees, 13,517 metric tonnes of waste generated and 33.33% female board representation. Sustainability governance places ultimate oversight with the Board and uses a materiality assessment process.
