Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes ITW's 2012 company-wide social responsibility activities across labor, philanthropy, environment and product responsibility. It reports approximately 60,000 employees, $17.9 BILLION in total revenues, 1,955,252 MWh of total energy and 58,753 US tons of solid waste. A major social highlight is the Women's Leadership Development Council's goal to double the percentage of women in vice president and above leadership positions by the end of 2017. Environmental data were restated due to portfolio management changes.
