Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report presents Imerys' 2017 Group-wide CSR performance across social, environmental and governance topics, including 18,359 year-end employees, 36,932 TJ of energy consumption and 252,022 tons of industrial waste. Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO2 emissions were reported at 2,018 kt CO2e and 1,161 kt CO2e, respectively, while a partial Scope 3 estimate covered contracted mining and transportation. The Group launched a materiality assessment and a CSR Steering Committee, and its CSR information received limited assurance from Deloitte & Associés.
