Overview

The report describes Industeel's 2022 sustainability performance across five sites in Belgium and France. It highlights no fatal accidents, a 2022 Scope 1 total of 183 kilotonne CO2 equivalent and Scope 2 total of 66 kilotonne CO2 equivalent, alongside a 35% direct CO2 intensity reduction goal by 2030. Water, waste and circularity disclosures include 2,065,169 m3 of raw water, 88,000 tons of waste generated and 97% waste valorised. The company also initiated its ResponsibleSteel certification process and reports ongoing actions on diversity, worker safety, energy transition and local communities.
