Overview

The report is Industries Qatar's first sustainability report and covers IQ and its four Group companies on a consolidated basis for 2020. It reports group energy consumption of 261.275 MN GJ, GHG emissions of 10.505 Mn MT, water consumption of 34.01 mn m3, and waste generation of 378,261 MT. The Group reports zero work-related fatalities among employees and contractors and 3,834 full-time employees. It also describes environmental initiatives including wastewater reuse and Zero or Near Zero Liquid Discharge projects.
