Overview

The report describes IFC's revised Policy and Performance Standards on Social and Environmental Sustainability and expanded disclosure policy. It reports FY05 investment of $705.1 million in 21 projects with sustainable-energy components and an estimated $220.9 million of direct sustainable-energy investment. It also documents the Footprint Program, including a GHG inventory and renewable energy credits covering 100 percent of Washington, DC electricity, and includes external assurance by The Corporate Citizenship Company.
