Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is IOI Group's first stand-alone sustainability report for the year ended 30 June 2017, covering its plantation, manufacturing and commodity-marketing activities. It highlights a sustainability governance structure in which the Sustainability Steering Committee reports to the Board, alongside a Sustainability Advisory Panel and strengthened grievance and supplier-engagement mechanisms. Group dashboard data show 99% palm-oil and 97% palm-kernel-oil traceability to mill, while IOI Plantation reports 12,465 MT CO2e total GHG emissions excluding Indonesia. The report also describes methane-capture facilities and other efforts on labour rights, conservation and responsible sourcing.
