Overview

The report highlights the key achievements and operational progress of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group in 2024. Net approvals surged by 12.3% to US$13.2 billion, with significant contributions from the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) and IsDB Ordinary Capital Resources (OCR). The Group prioritized food security through its US$10.54 billion Food Security Response Programme and advanced green, resilient infrastructure in energy and transportation. Additionally, the IsDB Group successfully issued over US$5.0 billion in green and sustainable Sukuk to support climate-friendly initiatives and social development projects across its member countries.
