Overview

The report provides ITOCHU Group's FYE 2020 sustainability disclosure across environmental, social and governance topics. Group GHG emissions were reported at 1,202,508 t-CO2e for Scope 1 and 835,916 t-CO2e for Scope 2, with calculations using the GHG Protocol. The report also records 128,146 consolidated employees and a 12.5% renewable-energy ratio in the overall power-generation business, against a future target above 20%. Environmental and social indicators were subject to limited independent assurance by KPMG AZSA Sustainability Co., Ltd.
