Overview

The report presents JISL's first Corporate Sustainability Report for April 2008-March 2009, using GRI G3 and covering Jalgaon operations while excluding several other locations. It reports 37151 tCO2 eq. Scope 1, 73012 Scope 2 and 1478 Scope 3 emissions, with Scope 3 limited to commuting and business travel. It also discloses a 2035070 m3/annum corporate water footprint and 5085 associates. Ernst & Young provided limited assurance under ISAE 3000, while JISL highlights rural development and water, food and energy security.
