Overview

The report describes JetBlue's 2007 environmental and social initiatives, including a Scope I inventory showing 4,290,300 Metric Tons CO2e of direct emissions. Operational changes saved more than 950,000 gallons of fuel and approximately 9,200 metric tons of GHG emissions, while flight-procedure changes reduced emissions by just over 38,000 metric tons. Community programs included donating more than 13,000 books in Chicago and $80,000 to San Francisco-area food banks.
