Overview

The report presents JG Summit's first group-wide sustainability baseline for calendar 2019, covering the parent and five strategic business units. It reports PhP303,918.78 million in direct economic value generated, 2,501,878.42 tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 emissions, and 5,930,174.21 m3 of water consumption. The group records 22,361 employees within the sustainability boundary, 569 work-related injuries and two fatalities, while reporting zero corruption-related disciplinary incidents. It also highlights restoration of Wetland No. 8 and 683 artificial reef blocks in Batangas Bay.
