Overview

The report presents JTI's FY24 sustainability performance across product, people, planet and procurement targets. In 2024, Scope 1 and market-based Scope 2 emissions were 246 and 83 thousand tons CO2e, while Scope 3 totaled 4 984 thousand tons CO2e. JTI reports a 33% reduction in own-operations Scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2019, renewable electricity at 56%, and water withdrawal down 22% against 2019. Operational waste totaled 86 thousand tons, including 65 thousand tons recycled or composted.
