Environmental Report

Overview

The report describes JTEKT's FY2008 environmental program across production, logistics, product development and group coordination. It reports 239,665 t-CO2 from the environmental impact flow and a 545 thousand t-CO2 global total. The waste-flow diagram shows 98.7% recycled out of 51,600 t of total output, while landfill waste was 9 t. The report also describes renewed ISO 14001 certification and certification acquired by two Chinese group sites.
