Overview

The report describes JX Nippon Mining & Metals Group's five material CSR issues, including safety culture, human-resource development, recycling, and internal control. It records the opening of the JX Safety Education Center and extensive Group-wide safety and training initiatives. Fiscal 2012 environmental disclosures include 995 thousand tons of CO2 emissions from energy consumption, 16,642 TJ of energy consumption, 140,339 thousand m3 of water usage, and 290 thousand tons of gross waste generation.
