Overview

The report describes the Group's 2022 sustainability performance for its natural gas sales and related construction, installation and appliance businesses in the PRC. It reports total GHG emissions of 167.50 tonnes of CO2-e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of 66.78 tonnes of CO2-e and Scope 2 emissions of 100.72 tonnes of CO2-e, alongside an approximate 5% to 6% GHG reduction target by 2030. Total energy consumption was 384.71 MWh and water consumption was 782 m3, while total non-hazardous waste generated was 24 tonnes. ESG oversight is assigned to the Board and ESG Committee, supported by an annual materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement.
