Overview

The report describes Kadant's 2020 sustainability activities across 19 major manufacturing facilities and approximately 2,600 employees. It reports total energy use of 191,111 MWh and total GHG emissions of 41,303 MTCO 2 e, including 28,976 Scope 1 and 12,327 Scope 2. Kadant set a goal to reduce Scope 2 emissions by 20% in 2021 from 2020 levels and reported recycling over 620 metric tons of metal. It also became a UN Global Compact signatory and implemented Human Rights and Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
