Overview

The report describes Kadant's 2023 commitment to set near- and long-term emissions targets through a signed SBTi commitment letter, while formal targets remained to be submitted. It reports 100% renewable electricity sourcing and total energy usage of 163,534 MWh. Scope 1 emissions were 23,765 MTCO2e and Scope 3 emissions were 166,400 MT CO2e across identified categories. The report also highlights total waste of 3,850 MT and a 13 percent reduction in overall energy usage.
