Overview

The report highlights fiscal 2008 consolidated operating revenues of ¥2,689.3 billion and record electricity sales of 150.42 billion kilowatt-hours. It presents a low-carbon power-grid target to reduce the CO2 emissions factor to around 0.282kg-CO2/kWh over fiscal 2009 to fiscal 2013, alongside renewable-energy, biomass-fuel and efficiency initiatives.
