Overview

The report describes the Group's renewable-energy strategy, including a goal of 6 million kW of installed capacity by the 2030s and at least 2 million kW of new capacity. It reports 3,885 MW of renewable-energy facilities in Japan and abroad that had begun operation by the end of FY2019. The Group also set a goal to halve CO2 emissions associated with power generation in Japan by FY2030 from FY2013, and reported approximately 950 MW of overseas renewable assets across nine projects.
