Overview

The report covers Kawasaki's Japan-based head offices, technical institutes, branch offices and works for April 2001-March 2002, excluding overseas offices, subsidiaries and affiliates. It reports FY2001 total CO2 emissions of 263,323 t-CO2 and waste generation of 68,092 tons, with 55,955 tons recycled. Kawasaki also reports ISO14001 certification for its Rolling Stock and Aerospace works and presents a medium- and long-term environmental vision covering products, production, social contribution, information disclosure and group-wide EMS development.
